The average price of
marine gas oil (MGO) at the port of
Singapore rose at a less significant rate than
ICE Gas Oil during the month of May, according to Bunker Index and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) price data.
The ICE Gas Oil settlement average increased by $40.13 per tonne, or 7.16 percent, to $600.81 per tonne in May. During the same period, the Singapore MGO average was up by $37 per tonne, or 6.75 percent, to $585 per tonne.
Between May 2014 and May 2015, the monthly MGO average in Singapore declined by $325 per tonne, or 35.71 percent, from $910 to $585 per tonne, whilst the ICE Gas Oil settlement average decreased by $306.39 per tonne, or 33.77 percent, from $907.20 to $600.81 per tonne.
