New Times Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. held a delivery ceremony on 13 August for its 155,500-dwt LNG dual-fuel crude oil tanker, assigned hull number 72 and named Aristodimos, marking the handover of the vessel to owner Capital Ship Management Corp.

The ceremony took place at the company’s New Times Office Building and was attended by the shipyard’s Executive Deputy General Manager Zhang Yuyong and Deputy General Manager Yuan Heng, alongside the owner’s representative, Konstantinos Stavrakis.

As previously reported, the handover to Capital Ship Management of hull 71 — a 155,500-dwt crude oil tanker configured to run on LNG as a dual-fuel option alongside conventional marine fuels — was held on 8 June

And last week, the 112,500-dwt LNG dual-fuel product/crude oil tanker Athinagoras was also delivered to Capital Ship Management.

New Times Shipbuilding, based in Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, is part of China’s Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group.

Capital Ship Management operates a diversified fleet comprising crude and product tankers — including VLCC, Suezmax, Aframax/LR2 and MR/Handy vessels — as well as dry-bulk carriers and container ships.
