ENOC Lubricants Marketing targets international growth

Company plans to enter new locations with tailored solutions and eco-friendly products.

ENOC Lubricants Marketing, a division of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), says it aims to strengthen its presence across international markets - an issue that was discussed at the ENOC Annual Distributors' Meet, recently held in Shenzhen, China.

At its 7th Annual Distributors' Meet, ENOC Lubricants Marketing highlighted its international expansion strategy with plans to enter new locations by offering tailored solutions that are designed to meet the requirements of diverse markets, and discussed the importance of sustainable practices and innovating to develop environmentally friendly products.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, said: "The driving force behind the success of ENOC Lubricants Marketing across international markets has been its focus on product differentiation and innovation and its ability to offer customers tailored products and solutions to address niche market needs. Despite the challenging global environment, we managed to record positive growth. We hope to continue building on this growth momentum through collaborations with our strategic partners."

With volume growth averaging 14 percent year-on-year over the last eight years, ENOC Lubricants is one of the fastest growing lubricants brands in the Middle East.

Zaid Alqufaidi, Managing Director, ENOC Marketing, said: "Our focus last year was to implement strategies to overcome the challenges arising from the volatile oil prices; enabling us to evolve as a stronger and more agile business. We achieved this not only through product innovation but also through the localisation of our blending and manufacturing processes. Today, in addition to state-of-the-art plants in Jebel Ali and Fujairah, we also have lubricants production arrangements in Morocco, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia and Pakistan. This enables us to strengthen our supply chain efficiency and create added value for our customers."

ENOC Lubricants markets lubricants and greases that are designed to provide enhanced system protection and reduced maintenance costs for marine, automotive, industrial and other specialty products in the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, the Indian Subcontinent and CIS countries.

In the marine fuels market, ENOC Global Marine supplies lubricants and provides technical support services to the international marine industry. Headquartered in Dubai, ENOC's marine lubricants division supplies in 80 ports across 16 countries. The division's product - STRATA marine lubricants - is designed for all types of marine main engines.

In Africa, ENOC Global Marine cover's some of Africa's key ports in Egypt, Nigeria, Angola, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco and Mauritania and now South Africa.

Last week, GAC announced an exclusive partnership between its bunker fuels trading arm, GAC Bunker Fuels, and ENOC Global Marine. Under the agreement, GAC Bunker Fuels has been appointed as ENOC's exclusive sales agent and distributor for marine lubricants in South Africa.
