BIX MGO price summary: week 28


A summary of weekly global marine gas oil (MGO) prices.



The Bunker Index MGO (BIX MGO) - the worldwide daily marine gas oil (MGO) average quoted in US$ per metric tonne - fell to its lowest end-of-week price of the year so far on July 10, according to Bunker Index price data.

The global MGO price declined by $16.03 per tonne, or 2.3 percent, to $689.44 per tonne on Friday compared to $705.47 per tonne on July 3. It is the most significant end-of-week decrease since March 20.

It is also the fourth consecutive end-of-week decline and the sixth in the last eight weeks.
