BIX 180 price summary: week 28


A summary of weekly global 180 centistoke (cSt) prices.



The Bunker Index 180 CST (BIX 180) - the worldwide daily 180 centistoke (cSt) average quoted in US$ per metric tonne - declined by $16.74 per tonne, or 4.1 percent, during the seven-day period between July 3 and July 10, according to Bunker Index price data.

The global 180 cSt price was $389.27 per tonne on July 10 compared to $406.01 per tonne on July 3. The $16.74 decrease is the most significant since the $20.31 fall recorded in week 2.

It is the fourth weekly decline in a row and the seventh in the last eight weeks. It is also the lowest end-of-week figure in 13 weeks - since April 10.
