Rotterdam 380-cst average falls 1.2% in December


Monthly 380-cst average drops to its second-lowest level of the year in Rotterdam.



The average price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Rotterdam decreased for the third consecutive month in December, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at Europe's leading bunker port fell by $7 per tonne, or 1.2 percent, to $579 per tonne, down from $586 per tonne the previous month.

It is the second-lowest monthly average of 2012 and the lowest since June. It is also only the fourth time this year that the 380-cst average has been below $600 per tonne.
