Fujairah 380-cst drops $4 in December


Average monthly 380-cst price falls for the third successive month at the Middle East's leading bunker port.



The average price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Fujairah decreased by $4 per tonne, or 0.7 percent, during the month of December, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at the Middle East's leading bunker port fell to $602 per tonne this month, down from $606 per tonne in November, during a month that saw Fujairah's best-selling fuel grade record a $14 low-high price range of $595 to $609 per tonne - the lowest price range of 2012.

Fujairah's 380-cst December average is the lowest monthly average since June and the second-lowest monthly average of the year. It also represents the third monthly decline in succession and the smallest monthly decline of 2012.
