Bominflot launches Sagunto supply operation

Bunker firm expands its supply network in Spain with new delivery location in the province of Valencia.

Bominflot Group has announced that it has expanded its supply operation in Spain to the port of Sagunto, located approximately 30 kilometres north of Valencia.

Deliveries will be made by the 3,800 dwt double-hulled bunker tanker SP Dublin, which will carry product from Valencia, where Bominflot started a shore-based physical supply operation in August 2011.

Bominflot says it holds a license to supply both inside the port and at anchorage. The products that can be supplied in Sagunto are the same as in Valencia, namely RMG 380 ISO 8217:2010 and Gasoil DMA 0.1.

The bunker tanker has a capacity of up to 2,700 tonnes of 380-centistoke (cst) and approximately 350 tonnes of marine gas oil (MGO). The pumping capacity of the SP Dublin is up to 800 cubic metres per hour (cbm/hr) of intermediate fuel oil and approximately 100 cbm/hr of MGO.

For safety reasons, supplies in Sagunto can be arranged for a maximum of 1,900 metric tonnes of intermediate fuel oil and 230 metric tonnes of MGO.

Sagunto, whose main activities include car carriers and LNG operations, is located N 39°39'W 000°13', one hour sailing north of Valencia.

Please direct all inquiries for marine fuels in Sagunto and Valencia to Bominflot's office in Madrid or to any of its other offices.
