Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. has announced the delivery of two new vessels and the securing of time charter employment for five ships, pushing the company’s contracted revenue backlog to approximately $3.1bn.

The Athens-based company took delivery of LNG carrier Archimidis on 2 June and dual-fuel medium gas carrier Aristogenis on 4 June, both built at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. Ltd. The Aristogenis, with a capacity of 45,000 cbm, commenced a 12-month time charter upon delivery.

CCEC also confirmed that the LNG carrier Agamemnon, a 174,000 cbm vessel built at HD Hyundai Samho Co., Ltd., is expected to be delivered on 17 June. Both Archimidis and Agamemnon have secured bridging time charter employment with a major energy company through March 2027.

Upon completion of those bridging charters, the two vessels will commence previously announced long-term charters originally allocated to the LNG carriers Athlos and Archon, with firm periods of five years and seven years, respectively. Each charter includes an additional five-year option at the charterer’s discretion.

On the liquefied CO₂ and LPG side, the company’s second LCO2/multi-gas carrier, Amadeus — a 22,000 cbm vessel also built at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard — commenced a 12-month time charter on 21 May, having been delivered on 30 April. Its sister vessel, Alkimos, is expected to be delivered on 30 September 2026, and has been fixed on a seven-month time charter. Both charters are subject to final vetting clearance.

In aggregate, the five time charters are expected to generate approximately $87.4m in gross revenue over their firm periods, according to the Greek firm.

CCEC said its contracted revenue backlog now stands at approximately $3.1bn, with an average remaining firm charter duration of 6.7 years. Including all charterer extension options, the backlog would increase to approximately $4.6bn, with an average duration of 9.8 years.

CCEC’s in-the-water fleet comprises 17 vessels, including 13 LNG carriers, one Neo-Panamax container vessel, one dual-fuel medium gas carrier and two LCO2/multi-gas carriers. The company’s orderbook includes a further eight LNG carriers, five dual-fuel medium gas carriers and two LCO2/multi-gas carriers, scheduled for delivery between the second quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2029.
