Monjasa is seeking a bunker supply trader to join its Singapore office, with applications closing on 7 August.

The role is focused on developing and maintaining supplier relationships to support the company’s purchasing platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily trading, supplier analysis, and operational coordination between suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery.

The Singapore position sits within a team environment on the firm's trading floor, with the role offering international exposure and occasional travel — estimated at once or twice a year.

The company, which frames its corporate culture around driving 'Personal Business', challenging the status quo with original solutions and building strong relations both internally and externally, states that it operates with a flat organisational hierarchy and an informal working environment rooted in its Danish heritage. Its Asia footprint currently spans Singapore, Tokyo and Shanghai.

Candidates are expected to have two to three years of experience in sales, along with a background in the bunker or shipping industry. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in an additional language, such as Mandarin, listed as an advantage given the international client base.
