Island Oil appoints Charis Chartosias as Commercial Development Manager


Marine fuel trader brings over 14 years' experience to Limassol-based company.

Island Oil has announced the appointment of Charis Chartosias as Commercial Development Manager.

Chartosias brings over 14 years of experience in the marine fuel sector, with expertise in fuel trading and strategic market development.

Prior to joining Island Oil, he served as commercial manager at bunker trading firm Baseblue, where he is said to have led global trading and operational teams, expanding market presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Founded in 1992, Island Oil Holdings deals with the supply and trading of marine fuels. Other services include cargo trading, ship agency and marine lubricants. The business is headquartered in Limassol and also maintains trading desks in Dubai, Hong Kong, London, Piraeus, Seoul, and Singapore.

Subsidiary Island Petroleum Limited acts as a physical supplier in Cyprus, Romania and Israel, covering Dhekelia, Larnaca, Limassol, Moni, Vassiliko, Agigea, Constanta, Mangalia, Ashdod, and Haifa.
