Recruitment firm Redstone Search Group is seeking an experienced bunker trader for an international energy trading company expanding its physical trading operations in Singapore.
The role involves leading physical bunker trading activities across Singapore and the wider Asian region as part of the company's growth strategy in marine fuels.
According to the job posting, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and executing trades in marine fuels and related products, while building relationships with shipowners, suppliers, and brokers across the region.
The position requires coordination with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure delivery and compliance, as well as representing the company at client meetings, ports, and industry events to expand market presence.
The role specifications call for candidates with a proven track record in physical bunker or marine fuel trading, along with a strong understanding of Asian bunker markets, particularly Singapore's role as a regional hub.
Required qualifications include excellent negotiation and communication skills, ability to manage the full trade cycle including risk, logistics, and credit considerations, and fluency in English, with additional Asian languages considered advantageous.
