Tsogas leaves Aegean Marine Petroleum


John Tsogas vacates his position as cargo trader at bunker supply firm.



John Tsogas [pictured] has vacated his position as cargo trader and cargo operations executive at Aegean Marine Petroleum S.A.

Tsogas is an experienced member of the bunker industry. He joined Aegean in July 2004 and was employed as a bunker trader up until January 2011. His role as cargo trader and cargo operations executive lasted for almost two years. He has also been Aegean's marketing and publicity coordinator since 2005.

Tsogas is currently studying for an MBA in Shipping at the University of Piraeus, which is expected to be completed next year. He also has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from The National and Kapodestrian University of Athens, which he completed in 2003.

Taking over Tsogas' marketing and publicity duties will be Anna-Maria Karakasi, who has been a bunker trader at Aegean since September 2008. She has a master's degree in Energy, Trade & Finance from Cass Business School and a bachelor's degree in International & European Studies from Panteion University.
