Malik Group has announced three appointments across its business, including a new bunker trader at Malik Supply A/S and a new head of technology supporting both Malik Supply and Malik Energy A/S.

Thomas Bondesen has joined Malik Supply as a bunker trader with an offshore focus. Malik said he brings around 10 years of seagoing experience across multiple vessel types and roles, most recently as chief officer, and spent the past three years in the technical department of a bunker supplier. He is a technical specialist in the bunker industry, with a focus on ESG reporting, emissions reduction, vetting, and bunker operations.

Bondesen stated: “I chose Malik because of its strong growth journey and the opportunity to combine in-depth sector knowledge with trading. I’m looking forward to contributing to Malik Supply’s offshore setup and supporting continued growth and performance.”

Christian Ramsdal has joined Malik Group as head of technology, supporting both Malik Supply and Malik Energy A/S. He brings more than 25 years of experience across infrastructure, IT/OT, networking and cybersecurity.

Ramsdal noted: “Malik is an exciting company with clear momentum and growth. I’m looking forward to helping take our IT/OT setup and security to the next level, so we can support the business even better as we continue to scale.”

Malik Group also announced the appointment of Jeanette Rathje as a canteen worker. The company said she joins with more than 40 years of experience from Salling Group.

"I joined Malik because I want to make a difference. I'm looking forward to taking good care of everyone — and helping make sure you feel welcome and well looked after every day," Rathje said.

Founded in 1989, Malik Supply A/S is a Danish marine fuel trader and supplier that forms part of Malik Group. The group maintains physical supply operations in Denmark under the Malik Energy brand and has offices in Denmark, Greece, Sweden and UAE.
