Bunker price volatility declined last month in comparison with April, according to Bunker Index price data.

In a comparison of low-to-high differentials for the daily Bunker Index (BIX) global average, May recorded a differential of $24.78 per tonne, down from $33.43 per tonne in April.

The lowest daily worldwide bunker average last month was $379.10 per tonne, recorded on May 6, whilst the highest price was $403.88 per tonne on May 31.
