Cockett Marine Oil hires trading manager in Hong Kong


Appointment of experienced bunker professional Bai Di is designed to help Cockett develop its presence in Hong Kong.



Cockett Marine Oil Group has announced the strengthening of its trading team in Hong Kong with the appointment of Bai Di as trading manager.

In a statement, the company said: "Bai Di has extensive knowledge, experience and connections in the Asia bunker market having worked for several years with a Japanese trading house in Beijing, China, and most recently for a Chinese trading house in Singapore."

Cem Saral, Group Chief Operating Officer for Cockett Marine Oil, commented: "The appointment will enable the group to develop its presence in Hong Kong, increase its customer business and provide structured and strategic supply solutions across Asia."
