O Bunkering’s Marine Lubricants Division completed a delivery at the Port of Duqm in just 15 minutes, according to a post published by the company on 11 September.

The Oman-based bunker supplier said the turnaround was among the fastest it has recorded at the port, which is operated by Port of Duqm Company SAOC. According to the company, the speed of delivery was made possible by locally held marine lubricant stock positioned in Duqm, reducing the logistical lead time typically associated with sourcing products from further afield.

O Bunkering said the result reflected its “operational readiness” at the port, adding: "By maintaining local stocks of marine lubricants in Duqm, we remain closer to our customers and can more swiftly meet their vessels' needs."

As reported in May, O Bunkering announced the formation of a new board of directors following its recent merger with Marafi Services. Sulaiman Alhadhrami was appointed chief executive officer on 11 May.

O Bunkering is a Muscat-based physical bunker supplier and marine solutions provider established in 2013, serving Omani ports with fuel supply and related shipping support activities.
