Crude:

World fuel indexes traded today near a one-week low on projections that U.S. crude stockpiles increased last week.

U.S. crude inventories probably climbed by 2.50 - 3.0 million barrels in the week ended Oct. 9. Refinery run-rates are expected to have dropped 0.6 percentage points to 86.9 percent of capacity.

Data from China showed consumer inflation came in below estimates in September while producer prices fell for a 43rd straight month. Data added concerns that Chinese growth for the third quarter may fall below 7 percent for the first time since the global financial crisis. It also signalled that Central Bank of China still has room to ease monetary policy further to support a slowing economy.
