The Bunker Index 380 CST (BIX 380) - the worldwide daily 380 centistoke (cSt) average quoted in US$ per metric tonne - recorded its fifth end-of-week decline in a row between July 10 and July 17, according to Bunker Index price data.

The global 380 cSt bunker price fell by $7.20 per tonne, or 2.0 percent, to $354.33 per tonne on July 17 compared to $361.53 per tonne on July 10.

Friday's price is the lowest end-of-week figure in 17 weeks - since March 20. It is also the eighth end-of-week decrease in the last nine weeks, which in turn follows six consecutive weekly increases between April 10 and May 15.
