Aegean launches new marketing and trading division

Experienced team of traders based in Greece, Germany, Russia and Singapore.

Aegean Marine Petroleum S.A. has announced that it has established a new marketing and trading division with offices in Piraeus, Singapore, Hamburg and St. Petersburg.

The launch of the new division comes just three months after the demise of leading international bunker trading company OW Bunker. In an emailed statement, Aegean said it was "extending our reach to a field that has been recently hit, offering a secure and reliable service".

"We have established our new Marketing & Trading Division in our effort to expand Aegean's presence and offer a complete worldwide service to our partners," the bunker firm said.

"In addition to our experienced Physical Supply Team, that covers every major region and ocean, we now have four teams of experienced bunker traders, ready to provide our customers with bunker solutions, offering both marine fuel and marine lubricants, on a worldwide scale," Aegean stated.

"With a fleet of nearly 60 supply tankers, a bunkering station in every region, a sales team in every continent, we are striving to be a complete answer to all your marine products questions," the NYSE-listed company added.
