O Bunkering has appointed Eng. Sulaiman Alhadhrami as chief executive officer.

The bunker seller announced the appointment on 11 May, describing it as part of its efforts to strengthen its presence in Oman’s maritime and logistics sectors.

Alhadhrami has been a bunker manager at Hormuz Marine since May 2021. He previously spent six years with Oman Oil Marketing Company, where his posts included marine specialist, marine operations specialist and business development/support roles.

His earlier experience includes a maintenance technician position at National Ferries Company and a marine engineer contract with Asyad Shipping.

O Bunkering stated that it expects a new phase of development under Alhadhrami’s leadership as the firm continues its expansion strategy.

The appointment follows the bunker seller’s recent merger with Marafi Services, which created a single entity under the O Bunkering name.

Established in Muscat in 2013, O Bunkering is a physical bunker supplier and trading company active in bunker fuels, lubricants, logistics and marine services across Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
