LSFO available at Colombian ports

Bunkers International now offering 1% LSFO at three ports in Colombia.

Bunkers International Corporation, along with its joint venture partner C.I. Vanoil, has announced the availability of 1% max low sulphur fuel oil (LSFO) at the Colombian ports of Cartagena, Barranquilla and Santa Marta.

The newly available product provides a maximum of 1.00% LSFO with viscosity of 250-300 cst, less than 200ppm of Vanadium and a CCAI of typically 820-830ppm.

"This great new product is not only very low sulphur, but also meets all other specifications of ISO 8217: 2005 (E), which provides a high quality product at a competitive price," said John Canal, President of Bunkers International Corp.

"With proximity to the Panama Canal, a quick bunkers-only call could save our customers a significant amount of money over other locations offering LSFO. With turnaround times as low as 6 hours and a large barge fleet equipped with fully redundant systems, we provide a reliable, competitive all inclusive service that is time-efficient for our customers. We can also offer this low sulphur IFO product by truck in Barranquilla and Santa Marta," added Canal.
