EGCSA announces emissions workshop

Event to provide delegates with information on sulphur and particulate matter legislation.

The Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems Association (EGCSA) has announced that it will be presenting a workshop at the forthcoming Shipbuilding, Machinery & Marine Technology International Trade Fair (SMM Exhibition) in Hamburg on Wednesday and Thursday 8th & 9th September 2010, at 14.00 hours.

Commenting on the event, the EGCSA said "The workshop will provide delegates with the very latest information on sulphur and particulate matter legislation and the likely development of even more stringent legislation in the not too distant future."

The EGCSA added "You should not miss this opportunity to get briefed on what will be a very challenging compliance issues as sulphur limits are further reduced and more Emissions Control Areas come into force. There is no doubt that MARPOL Annex VI amendments will result in winners and losers. Be sure to position your company as a winner and attend this very topical workshop."

EGCSA members will be on hand to present the very latest market developments and their technologies. All delegates will have the opportunity to ask questions in an open forum during the workshop.

Private discussions over light refreshments are also planned from 15.30 onwards.

The EGCSA has advised that seating at the workshop will be limited, so people will be required to register beforehand to avoid being turned away from the event.

Registration is available at the EGCSA website located at www.egcsa.com
