Copenhagen to showcase fuel cell technology


Fuel cell applications for the marine industry to be exhibited at eco-event next week.



Engine manufacturer Wärtsilä has announced that it will be showcasing its fuel cell technology for the marine markets in Copenhagen next week.

The Finnish firm says it will be at the Bright Green exhibition, on December 12-13, where the company will be exhibiting its R&D work on fuel cells, which focuses on Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) system development for commercial and industrial applications.

"We provide superior value to our customers with our decentralized, flexible, efficient and environmentally advanced energy solutions. Our technology will enable a global transition to a more sustainable and modern energy infrastructure," the company said in a statement.
