Dan-Bunkering has announced the hire of three bunker traders at its office in Dubai. They are: Benedek Nagy, Fabio Rossetti and Nemish Jose.

Benedek Nagy was born and raised in Hungary and moved to Denmark at the age of 18 to study international shipping and trade and gain experience within the industry.

Fabio Rossetti grew up in a multi-ethnic family in Denmark and holds a graduate diploma in managerial economics and innovation management from Copenhagen Business School.

Nemish Jose is of Indian descent. He has a master's degree in port and shipping management from Indian Maritime University and speaks English, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil. He also has six years of experience in the bunker business.

Commenting on the appointments, Dan-Bunkering noted that its UAE team has recently seen "rapid growth", especially during the past year.

Dubai is also the Dan-Bunkering office with the biggest number of different nationalities, which the company says makes it "a strong team with a capability to reach and manage many different cultures and markets of the bunker industry".

Managing director, Kasper Fulton Stiedl, remarked: "We are very proud that we are continuously able to invest in new [talent] and experienced traders despite the tough market conditions of our business. This confirms that hard work and stable growth pay off, and that the industry acknowledges the opportunity to be a part of our organisation."

The latest Dan-Bunkering hires follow the recent addition of four traders in Copenhagen earlier this month, and the appointment of three members of staff in Houston.
