Oil and fuel oil hedging market update

By the Oil Desk at Freight Investor Services.

Commentary

Brent closed down $0.58 last night to $66.44, WTI closed down $0.33 to $59.64. In four days it will be 2018. Who knows what 2018 will bring us, but the oil market does seem like it is ready to leap into New Year with both feet. Will crude oil be able to sustain it's positive sentiment? I'm not so sure, but the bulls will tell you a different story. I think next year will be one that is taken up with the inevitable rise of Elon Musk and his battery crusade, sulphur limits and what will happen in 2020, demand for crude waning and refining margins.
