New physical bunker supplier in the Danube

Ukrainian firm has this week commenced its supply operation at the 61st mile of the Danube river.

Kiev-based bunker firm Marine Standard Ltd has this week commenced a new physical supply operation at the 61st mile of the Danube river.

The company's 455-dwt barge, Miranda (IMO 8330542), has begun carrying out deliveries of marine gas oil (MGO) to vessels in the area. It has a total storage capacity of around 350 metric tonnes.

The maximum sulphur content of the MGO being delivered is said to be 0.1 percent. Price levels being quoted today were at $480 per metric tonne.

In addition to the Danube, Marine Standard also has an offshore supply operation in the Black Sea. The company is able to deliver OPL [off port limits] Kavkaz and OPL Odessa, supplying intermediate fuel oil (IFO) with a viscosity ranging from 30 centistoke (cSt) to 380 cSt, in addition to MGO.
