Chinese firm announces new BAF


New BAF for trades from China to Europe will come into effect in July.



Chinese Shipping firm OOCL (China) Ltd. has announced that its new Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) for trades from China to Europe will come into effect from the beginning of next month.

From July 1st 2008, the BAF for trades from mainland China (except South China) to the Mediterranean will be USD 610/TEU.

The low sulphur fuel surcharge (MAR) for routes from mainland China (except South China) to Europe has been adjusted to USD 11/TEU.
