Cockett opens office in Istanbul

Second office launched in South Europe in less than five months.

Cockett Marine Oil Group has announced the launch of its new office in Istanbul, Turkey.

The operation is to be managed by Mr Ilker (Illy) Dibekoglu [pictured, left] and he will be assisted by bunker trader, Ms Burcu Meselik [pictured, right].

In a statement, Cockett said: "Together Illy & Burcu have a wealth of experience and knowledge of the industry and Cockett Marine Oil DMCC Turkey will use its extensive market experience to assist customers in purchasing fuel, achieving the most competitive prices whilst ensuring quality of service and product."

Up until the launch of the Istanbul office, Dibekoglu had been employed as office manager at Cockett Marine Oil Benelux, Rotterdam.
