IBME appoints South American trader in Dubai


Experience bunker professional to focus on the South American market in his new role with UAE firm.



International Bunkering Middle East (IBME), has announced the appointment of Hernan B. Ortiz as a bunker and lubricants trader at its office in Dubai.

Commenting on the appointment, Managing Director Carsten Ladekjær, said: ‘We are very proud to welcome Hernan to our team. Hernan has over 25 years of experience within the shipping and bunker industry. We are proud that our company has been given a stamp of approval when he has chosen to work with us and he will be an important part of developing our team even further.’

Hernan will mainly focus on the South American market. "His cultural understanding, experience and wide network combined with his market knowledge in South America will benefit our growing number of clients which are trading in that region," IBME added.
