CMA CGM's 24,212-teu container ship, CMA CGM Notre Dame, has made her maiden call in Singapore as part of her inaugural voyage between Asia and Europe, the French shipping group announced on 1 June.
According to CMA CGM, the vessel is the world's largest LNG-powered container ship and the first of ten sister ships of the same capacity to sail under the French flag.
The cargo liner, which was recently bunkered with 18,000 cbm of LNG, is said to incorporate AI-assisted systems, digital navigation tools and energy-efficiency technologies — designed to enhance operational performance and support maritime decarbonisation.
During her Singapore call, CMA CGM Notre Dame berthed alongside two other vessels from the group's fleet — CMA CGM Pride and CMA CGM Saint Anne.
Following her Singapore stop, the vessel is scheduled to proceed to Le Havre, France, where an official naming ceremony is planned.
