Flex Commodities appoints Akshat Agrawal as operations manager


Dubai-based marine fuel trader adds experienced operations professional to support global expansion.

Flex Commodities DMCC has strengthened its operations team with the appointment of Akshat Agrawal as operations manager.

Agrawal brings hands-on experience across marine fuel trading operations, including trade finance processes and deal execution, as the company looks to scale volumes and expand its physical presence in key markets.

In his previous role, Agrawal spent more than seven years at Trafigura in Mumbai, where he served as senior operator and operations management specialist.

Flex Commodities said the appointment is intended to support operational development across its global trading desks, with a focus on improving execution capabilities and strengthening on-the-ground activities.

Flex Commodities is a marine fuels trading and cargo logistics company headquartered in Dubai with staff also based in Greece and Singapore.
