Experienced trader joins Glander International Bunkering


Former OW Bunker trader Kristian Korsgaard Pedersen has over 16 years' experience in the marine fuels industry.



Glander International Bunkering has confirmed the appointment of Kristian Korsgaard Pedersen [pictured] as Senior Bunker/Lubricant Trader and Team Leader at its Dubai office.

Pedersen has worked in the bunker industry for over 16 years. He joined OW Bunker and Trading A/S as a bunker trader in 1998 and was appointed branch manager of O.W. Bunker Middle East DMCC in February 2007, where he was responsible for setting up the company's Dubai office from scratch and the recruitment of staff.

In February 2011, Pedersen was named sales manager at O.W. Bunker Middle East DMCC, where he worked until the firm was declared bankrupt in November 2014.

Commenting on the appointment, Glander International Bunkering said: "Kristian Korsgaard Pedersen has built a career in the bunkering industry for over 16 years. Kristian is known for his leadership qualities, in-depth understanding and experience in various shipping segments. Mr. Pedersen comes from Denmark and has spent many years of his career in the Middle East acquiring expert knowledge at supplying in the region and other areas of the globe. Kristian speaks, English, Danish and conversational German."
