Dynamic Oil Trading appoints Russian bunker trader

Former Gazpromneft Marine Bunker trader joins Dynamic Oil Trading's Singapore office.

Dynamic Oil Trading, a global trading company for marine fuels and lubricants, has announced the appointment of Nikita Miroshnik as a bunker trader for its worldwide bunker trading team, based in Singapore.

In a statement, the company said: "Nikita Miroshnik brings considerable experience of working with suppliers and buyers in the Russian bunker market. This knowledge will be critical for customers, as more ship owners and operators are using Russian ports to bunker due to favourable prices. "

Prior to joining Dynamic Oil Trading, Miroshnik worked as a bunker trader at Gazpromneft Marine Bunker for two years across a number of Russian ports, including St. Petersburg, Murmansk and Arkhangelsk, where his responsibilities included bunker trading, contract work and operational liaison for fuel deliveries. He was educated at St. Petersburg State Politechnical University.

Commenting on the appointment, Lars Møller, CEO, Dynamic Oil Trading, said: "We’re very pleased to have further strengthened our Worldwide bunker trading team with the appointment of Nikita Miroshnik. Nikita brings exactly the hands-on experience that we want at Dynamic Oil Trading, including a breadth of knowledge of the Russian bunker market, which is seeing significant growth, and will be of tremendous value to our customers.

"As we approach Dynamic Oil Trading’s second anniversary, Nikita’s appointment exemplifies our continued growth, as we build a world-class team of bunkering professionals with in-depth knowledge of the world’s leading bunker markets. Although we expect the market to remain challenging for the remainder of this year and into 2015, I am confident that the experience and expertise of our team, coupled with our financial strength, will ensure that we continue to provide our customers with the right fuel products at the right prices, when and where they need them."
