New bunker supplier in Novorossiysk


Company carried out its first marine fuel delivery earlier this week.



BFC-Yug, a subsidiary of the Baltic Fuel Company group, carried out its first bunker fuel delivery at the Russian port of Novorossiysk on September 9, 2013.

The company supplied 300 metric tonnes of high sulphur 380-centistoke (cst) fuel and 50 metric tonnes of diesel fuel to the Malta-flagged dry bulk carrier TurkanSaylan. The vessel's particulars are as follows: LOA – 138 metres, Breadth – 25 metres, Draft – 8.3 metres, Displacement – 18,721 T).

BFC-Yug's tanker vessel Captain Shiryaev carried out the refuelling operation.

"This was the first step of Baltic Fuel Company Group in expansion of bunker sales volume in the port of Novorossiysk and other Russian ports of the Black Sea coast," the company said in a statement.
