The average monthly Bunker Index (BIX) price decreased by $16.64 per tonne, or 2.0 percent, in December compared to the previous month, according to Bunker Index price data.

The BIX global monthly average fell to $818.18 per tonne last month, down from a 7-month high of $834.82 per tonne in November.
