Bominflot appoints sales and supply director

Director will be responsible for the commercial team in Hamburg and representative office in Stockholm.

Bominflot has announced that Rune Larsen has joined the group as Director Sales and Supply for Bominflot Bunkergesellschaft für Mineralöle mbH & Co KG, effective from July 1st 2011.

Larsen will be responsible for the commercial team in Hamburg and the representative office in Stockholm. In addition Larsen will focus on strategy and business development in line with the group's overall targets.

Prior to joining Bominflot, Larsen was Managing Director at International Tanker Management, Hamburg, having previously worked for FAMM/Chevron's lubricants business for a number of years.

"With a background as a marine engineer onboard tankers and offshore followed by technical sales, Rune's broad managerial and marine experience will be a great contribution to Bominflot's future growth," Bominflot said.
