Dan-Bunkering appoints Monaco MD


Danish firm expects to recruit additional personnel for its Monaco office 'in the near future'.



Leading bunker trader A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd. - part of United Shipping & Trading Company (USTC) group - has announced that it has appointed Jesper Møller Christensen to be the Managing Director of its new operation in Monaco, Dan-Bunkering (Monaco) S.A.M.

In a statement, Dan-Bunkering said that Christensen would be an asset to the company through the extensive knowledge of the shipping industry he had gained over the last 16 years.

The company added that it expects to recruit additional personnel to work at its Monaco office 'in the near future'.

Dan-Bunkering announced that it would be opening an office in Monaco towards the end of December. The company said it was looking to launch a new operation in the principality 'in order to provide even greater service to customers in the southern part of Europe'.

The new office is expected to be launched at the start of February 2011.
