Island Oil, a physical supplier and trader of marine fuels, has appointed Eirini Pasanta as its new communications manager, the company announced on 2 June.
Pasanta brings a background in strategic communications, brand development and stakeholder engagement to the role, the company noted, with the new hire having previously served at Ethos Shipmanagement, Ezoria and Deliveroo in various marketing, public relations and production management positions.
Commenting on the appointment, Pasanta stated: "I am excited to join Island Oil and become part of a company with such a strong reputation and vision. I look forward to contributing to the communication strategy and working alongside a talented team to strengthen its presence and connections with our stakeholders."
Island Oil said it was "delighted" to welcome Pasanta to the team.
Headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus, Island Oil operates physical supply stations in Cyprus, Romania, and Israel. The company also has trading desks in Brazil, Denmark, Greece, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, UAE, and UK.
