Kuehne+Nagel is recruiting a marine energy pricing analyst in Kallithea, Greece, to support tender submissions involving bunker and compliance costs.

The post involves working with the tender function and key account managers to apply client-specific bunker formulas for individual offers. The analyst will handle large Excel files containing shipment data, including port of loading and port of discharge details.

Core tasks cover feasibility checks on client-specific formulas, benchmark selection and data-quality review during the offering stage. Once volumes are secured, the analyst will apply the agreed calculation method monthly or quarterly to assess yield, surpluses and deficits.

The successful applicant will also need to understand the difference between standard bunker adjustment level offerings and bespoke pricing mechanisms. The advert mentions cross-selling opportunities linked to bunker adjustment levels, secured energy plans and sustainable marine fuel-related products.

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking candidates with a bachelor’s degree in business, shipping or logistics and at least two years of relevant experience. Knowledge of freight forwarding, import and export activity, less-than-container-load and full-container-load services is also requested.

Applicants should have strong Excel skills, good numerical ability, and excellent written and spoken English.

The job advertisement says possible next steps after three years could include a pricing team lead post or a regional or national sustainability management path.

Kuehne+Nagel’s Greece operation offers training, career development, private medical insurance, and a competitive compensation package.

Kuehne+Nagel provides sea, air, road, fulfilment, customs and supply chain management services across international markets. The group works with customers across a wide range of industries and offers digital tools covering shipment booking, tracking and connectivity.
