Malik strengthens team with bunker trader appointment

Danish firm says latest hire is a 'natural consequence of the group's growth'.

Bunker firm Malik Supply A/S has appointed Assad El-Zarie as bunker trader, effective from last week.

Prior to joining Malik, Assad worked in sales for telecommunications firm Telia Denmark over a period of six years. He holds a hotel management qualification and is fluent in Arabic, Danish and English.

In statement, Malik said Assad, aged 30, "loves new challenges", and that he is "looking forward to being part of the Malik Supply team offering the customers the best possible service."

"Hiring a Bunker Trader is a natural consequence of the group's growth and future strategy. Assad will strengthen our sales team and be of great benefit to our customers," Malik added.
