KPI Bridge Oil promotes trader in Denmark

Oliver Denal is named Senior Bunker Trader.

KPI Bridge Oil, a trader and broker of marine fuels, marine lubricants and risk management products, has announced the promotion of Oliver Denal to Senior Bunker Trader at its Denmark office.

Denal originally joined KPI Bridge Oil's London office four years ago before relocating to the company's Denmark office in 2016.

"In his time with the Company, Oliver has added much value to both offices and the wider KPI Bridge Oil Group," the company said.

Before joining KPI Bridge Oil in April 2013, Denal worked for human resources and management development specialist Unik HR, and recruitment firm Amrop.

In addition to his time spent in Denmark and the UK, Denal has worked and lived in the US, Canada and Estonia. He has a master's degree in business from Copenhagen Business School.

Kenni Goldenbeck, managing director at KPI Bridge Oil Denmark, remarked: "Oliver is a great team member to work with and has been an invaluable addition ever since he located to our local office just over a year ago. His knowledge of the shipping market and noteworthy relationships with his clients add value and certainly enable him to succeed in his role as Senior Bunker Trader. At KPI Bridge Oil it is important for our team members to stay motivated and passion driven, which is why we continuously strive to provide a positive career ladder."

Commenting on his promotion, Denal said: "I really have enjoyed the journey with KPI Bridge Oil and see this promotion as an acknowledgement from them that I am doing the right thing. KPI Bridge Oil initially offered me a position five years back but due to illness I was only able to join the company a year later. The company held the job offer for me and supported me in my recovery, which is a typical example of their 'people first' approach. I hope for many more good years with KPI Bridge Oil."
