Lowest Rotterdam 380 cSt monthly average since July 2010


The 380 cSt average at Europe's biggest bunker port has plummeted 22.2 percent in just two months.

The 380 centistoke (cSt) average at Europe's leading bunker port fell to its lowest level since July 2010 during the month of November, according to Bunker Index price data.

The Rotterdam 380 cSt average declined by $56, or 11.6 percent, to $425 per tonne last month, down from $481 per tonne in October.

The $56 price decrease is the second most significant of the year so far. Over the last two months, the monthly average has nosedived $121, or 22.2 percent.

In comparison with the corresponding month in 2013, the November 2014 average is $150 lower. It is $161 below the $586 per tonne price recorded in November 2012.
