Global Vision launches office in South Africa


Experienced marine fuels professional Shanaaz Bennett heads up the group's South African office.



As a result of its growing activities in the African continent, Global Vision Bunkers has announced the launch of a new office in South Africa.

Experienced marine fuels professional Shanaaz Bennett will be heading up Global Vision Bunkers (Africa), an operation based in Soneike, Cape Town.

During her career in the bunker industry Bennet has worked for Shell, Bominflot, Cockett Marine and, most recently, she was Managing Director of Wilhelmsen Premier Marine Fuels in South Africa.

Commenting on the appointment, Global Vision said "She is an expert in all things Southern Africa and will be responsible for developing further the group’s considerable activities throughout Africa."

Referring to its activities in Africa, Global Vision said it was an internationally licensed reseller of Sonangol product in Angola and active throughout the continent, both inport and offshore.

"The new office in South Africa will give the group greater access to the fast developing oil activities throughout the continent," Global Vision said.
