The Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) has published the 2026 edition of its frequently asked questions (FAQ) document on the bunkering of biofuels for ocean-going vessels in the Port of Singapore, providing updated technical, commercial, testing and regulatory guidance on the subject.
The publication covers the bunkering process as well as the onboard use of marine biofuels, and is aimed at technical, marine, operations, sustainability and compliance personnel working for shipowners and operators. The SSA notes that the FAQ is intended for informational purposes only and is not exhaustive.
The updated document was produced by the SSA's Biofuels FAQ Working Group, which operates under the association's Marine Fuels Committee. A full list of working group members is included within the publication.
The FAQ document is available to download via the SSA's website.
