Hapag-Lloyd revises bunker charges for Asia and Oceania


Surcharges are effective from February 1.



Container shipping line Hapag-Lloyd AG has announced revised bunker-related charges from/to Asia and Oceania.

All the charges - apart from the Bunker Fuel Factor (BFF) for Oceania, which is revised on a quarterly basis - are effective from February 1, 2016.

A summary of the charges has been provided below.

- Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) and Low Sulphur Fuel Surcharge (LSF) for Asian export trades.

- Interim Fuel Participation (IFP) for Asian export trades.

- Low Sulphur Surcharge (LSF) for Asian export trades.

- Bunker Fuel Factor (BFF) for Oceania, effective from January 1, 2016 to March 31, 2016.

- Bunker Charge (BUC), Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) and Low Sulphur Fuel Surcharge (LSF) for Asian import trades.

- Bunker Charge (BUC) and Low Sulphur Surcharge (LSF) for Asian import trades.

- Bunker Fuel Factor (BFF) for Asian import trades.

- Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) for intra-Asia trades.

- Emergency Bunker Surcharge (EBS) from/to Asia and Oceania.
