Lowest Singapore 380 cSt average since December 2008


Monthly 380 cSt average falls to its lowest level since the end of 2008.



The average monthly price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) in Singapore fell to its lowest level since the end of 2008 during the month of September, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380 cSt average at the world's leading bunker port decreased by $9, or 3.7 percent, to $237 per tonne this month, down from $246 per tonne in August. It is the lowest figure since the $232.00-per-tonne price recorded in December 2008.

September saw Singapore's best-selling fuel grade record a $42 daily low-to-high price range of $220 to $262 per tonne. The lowest price of $220 per tonne was recorded on Sepember 29, whilst the $262-per-tonne price was being quoted on September 1.
