BMS Bunkers expands Far East team


Experienced bunker trader will officially begin working for the company on May 1st.



Greece-based bunker trading firm BMS Bunkers has announced the expansion its Far East team with the addition of bunker trader Alex Chui [pictured], who will officially begin working for the company on May 1st.

Chui is an experienced bunker professional who was previously employed as a bunker trader for Hong Kong-based United Bunkering & Trading (HK) Ltd. between September 2009 and August 2012.

Commenting on the appointment, Mikael Haestrup, Regional Manager at BMS Bunkers, said: "We are looking to create a team that builds on multicultural strengths and does not limit itself only to in-depth knowledge of the Far East Region; the team already consists of Isabel Wei (Chinese), Lars Tollefsen (Norwegian), Alex Chui (Chinese/South African) and myself (Danish) – and looking to expand the team further."
