Fujairah 380 cSt price summary: week 52


A summary of weekly Fujairah 380 centistoke (cSt) prices.



The price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) at the port of Fujairah recorded its first week-on-week increase since the 7-day period ending October 30 in week 52, according to Bunker Index price data.

The Fujairah 380 cSt bunker price was up $6.00, or 3.8 percent, to $163.50 per tonne on December 24 compared with $157.50 per tonne on December 18.

During the week, price decreases of $2.50 and $4.00 - seen on Monday and Wednesday - were outweighed by increases of $5.00 and $7.50 on Tuesday and Thursday.

The $6.00 increase in week 52 is the most significant in 11 weeks - since the week ending October 9.

So far during the month of December, the 380 cSt price in Fujairah has only risen in 4 days out of 18. Since November 30, 380 cSt has plummeted $45.00, or 21.6 percent, from $208.50 to $163.50.
