Oslo event to introduce new service aimed at cutting fuel consumption.



Hamburg-based Germanischer Lloyd (GL) has announced that it will host a press conference next week to introduce its business segment "Maritime Solutions" and launch its new subsidiary FutureShip.

The event will take place at Nor-Shipping 2009 in Oslo. Please find details of the press conference below:

At the launch of FutureShip, the speakers are also expected to speak about GL's new FuelSaver family of energy consumption optimisation (ECO) services.

The FuelSaver product line offers a range of services with a common objective: optimising ship fuel usage to improve profitability, both for ships in operation and those yet to be built.
